What we collect

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use this site, pages viewed, general location at the country or region level, device type, and referral source. We use Google Search Console separately, it's not a visitor tracker, it reports how the site appears in Google Search itself, things like search queries and click-through rates.

If you contact us, we collect the name and email address you provide, used only to respond to you. If you subscribe to updates or a price-drop alert on a specific product, we store your email address and, for price alerts, which product and price threshold you asked to be notified about. We never sell or rent any of this to third parties.

Saving products to compare uses your browser's local storage, not our servers. It stays on your device, and clearing it removes it completely, nothing to delete on our end.

Cookies

This site sets one cookie of its own: it remembers your general region so retailer buttons show in a sensible order (faster domestic shipping first), nothing more, and it's not used for affiliate tracking. Google Analytics sets its own cookies to distinguish visitors for traffic reporting.

When you click a link to a retailer, affiliate tracking technologies, such as cookies, from the affiliate networks and retailers involved may record that the click came from this site so a commission can be credited. Those networks and retailers have their own, separate privacy policies governing that data, not ours.

By using this site, you're accepting cookies as described here. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, doing so may affect some site features.

Affiliate links and third-party retailers

Some links on this site are affiliate links, marked with rel="sponsored". Clicking one takes you directly to the retailer's own site; if you buy something, the retailer attributes the sale back to us so we can earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. We don't see your payment details, what you bought, or any other purchase information, that stays with the retailer. Service providers

We use a third-party hosting provider to run this site and a third-party email service provider to send subscriber and price-alert emails. They process data only to provide those services, not for their own separate purposes.

Your rights

If you're located somewhere with data-protection rights that apply, such as the EU, UK, or California, you can ask what data we hold about you or ask us to delete it. Email hello@kbeautyintel.com and we'll handle it directly.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for a general audience and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll review and remove it.

Changes to this policy

We'll update the date at the top of this page when this policy changes materially.
