About K-Beauty Intel

K-Beauty Intel is an independent testing and price-tracking site for Korean sunscreens, serums, moisturizers, and cleansers. We started it because most K-beauty content answers a different question than the one people are actually asking.

Search for almost any Korean sunscreen and you'll find dozens of near-identical roundups, most of them rewriting the same manufacturer descriptions in a different order. What's missing is the boring, specific stuff that actually determines whether a product works for you: does it leave a white cast on deeper skin tones, how long does it really take to sink in, does it pill under sunscreen, what does it actually cost per milliliter once you account for the size difference between a 50mL and a 70mL bottle.

That's the gap we're building K-Beauty Intel to fill — one category at a time, starting with the four listed above, tracked and tagged the way we describe on our Methodology page.
